As a trail running enthusiast, this project was especially close to my heart. Collaborating with the team behind the Tsitsikamma Ultra, we set out to create a fresh visual identity for an event rich in trail-running history but now entering a new chapter.
Our focus was on striking the right balance: a design that felt professional and trustworthy, yet still playful and engaging. One standout feature was the Excuse Generator, which quickly became a crowd favorite — users loved cycling through the witty excuses, adding a touch of humor that perfectly complemented the event’s adventurous spirit.
